Hey Velma :) Just wanted to say hi and thank you for producing such a thoroughly informative podcast. Some of your ideas are absolute genius. I particularly love your practical magic section as I'm a student living in a house with friends where being openly witchy is a no-no. So using all your hints and tips really helps me keep in touch with the witch within. Thank you so much. Love and blessings!!!

Hi Velma. Thanks for the informative podcast. I've been gleaning a lot of information from it. I've not listened to all of them yet. Episode 6 was outstanding. I was a philosophy major back in my college days, and found it excellent listening!

Moonlight Meadow said:   May 24, 2010 12:49 pm PST
OMG Velma, I love your podcast. Every Monday morning, as soon as I wake up, the first thing I do is check Itunes to see if your show is ready for download, and when I see that it is available, I go "Yessss!". I don't know what I'm gonna do for the next two weeks. I'm addicted to WitchesBrewHaHa. I know all of us are going to miss you but we will be here anxiously waiting......Have a nice time with your family. Blessings )0(

Hi, I love your podcasts, you talk a lot of sense but also with much humour. I live in Bristol, England where paganism is alive and well, (near to Stonehenge and Avebury stone circles) With my husband Ian, we listen together, you always give us something to talk about! Blessed be xxx

Ok so I didn't listen to the last podcast until today so I know I didn't win it but that contest was HARD! Lol. I was hoping to try to win one of the mouse pads along with a sharpie but I'll try for the next time. :) Love your show and the plethora of information you so graciously give. I especially love the new stone and herb segments along with Hex Libris. When you talked recently about the pagan prayer beads I thought you climbed into my head! My coven sisters and I had just talked about making those a few weeks back. Anyway, keep up the awesome work Velma and thanks for such a wonderful and thoughtful podcast.

My wife and I love the show. We caught episode 18 and went and found the rest to catch up. We loved episode 8 a great deal. This is something we deal with all the time. We run our own circle and some of the members are very new to the religion, and they tell horror stories about how other pagans have made fun of them for their inexperience. Also my wife is a BBW and dresses like a pin up queen. She gets looks by other pagans for not dressing the quote pagan part. Love the show please keep it going. Blessed Be.

Hey, Velma. Just wanted to stop in and say that I love your show! I found you a few weeks ago via Fire Lyte at Inciting a Riot, and between the two of you I've really learned a lot. I'm new to the Pagan path, and I'm devouring every piece of information I can get my hands on--thanks for giving me another source! :)

Merry Meet Velma! I listen to your podcast all the time. I love it! Your last podcast, you talked about Books of Shadows and you having a hard time finding the right one for you...Have you ever thought of using a scrapbook as your Book of Shadows? This way you'd get a really large book, similar to the old traditional looking BOS, but at a reasonable cost. I'm currently in the process of combing my BOS and my Grimoire and putting them both in one large scrapbook. I'll use the front as my BOS and turn it over and use the back for my Grimoire. Anyway, just a thought for you...Take care, and I'll keep listening! Blessed Be! Lorrie

hi was reading the about velma section of your site... says you will write about your visit to salem and stonehenge... i am as stated before english and quite traditional witch ... stonehenge is a pilgrimage me and a load of my friends do about 3 or 4 times a year we find it has the most wonderful energy and we get to go into the center of the stones as well as pagans can do so on the sabbats as is our agreement with the local council :) looking forward to more instalments of your show goddess blessings barrie x x

I found your podcast on iTunes and listened to episode 15 (not 15 specifically for any particular reason, but because that was the one that downloaded first) and immediately was entranced. Your attitude not just towards Wicca but life in general is amazing. I hope to be more like that someday =D Please keep the podcasts coming. :] Constantine
