Fennel
Planting Tips:
Grows up to 7 feet tall
Likes full sun and well drained loam (no clay)
Don't grow near dill; they will cross-pollinate
Don't grow near cilantro; it will reduce the cilantro's seed production (coriander)
Magickal Uses:
DO NOT USE as incense- it will create anger and negative emotions when burned.
When used in sachets, fennel helps with fertility and verility.
Medicinal Uses:
Aids digestion
Eliminates gas
Mundane Uses:
Use in facial steams for deep cleansing
Use in lotions for healing your skin
Warnings:
MAY CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO PLANTS.
Dandelion
Planting Tips:
Originally brought to the U.S. as a salad herb
Grow prolifically, no need to plant
Magickal Uses:
An infusion of dandelions will promote psychic visions
Medicinal Uses:
Roots detoxify liver and kidneys
Also a mild diuretic
Supplies potassium to your body when ingested
Great to use for a hangover
Mundane Uses:
All parts of the plant are edible
Leave growing under fruit trees to increase their productivity

Magickal Uses:
Suitable substitute for graveyard dirt
Medicinal Uses:
Essential oil is an antiseptic
Small quantities of the oil are uplifting
Large quantities of the oil have sedative properties
Mundane Uses:
Makes you smell like a hippie
Houseleek AKA Hens and Chicks
Planting Tips:
Related to Aloe Vera
Requires very little soil
Originally grown on roofs of houses
Magickal Uses:
Will help protect home from lightning, fire, and storms
Gives good luck
Medicinal Uses:
Very good for the skin
Soothing to burns, wasp and bee stings, and mosquito bites
To use: break off a leaf, and rub fleshy part on the wound
Mundane Uses:
Use a handful of leaves in your bath to soothe and rejuvenate your skin
Chamomile
Planting Tips:
Buy established plants
Roman Chamomile is a Perennial – German Chamomile will reseed itself every year
Should work well in a pot
Magickal Uses:
Corresponds with Sun Gods, so use in ritual teas or baths if you plan on using Sun energy
Relaxing, so will aid with meditation if consumed before meditating
Medicinal Uses:
A Chamomile bath will help ease sunburn or windburn
Place Chamomile tea bags, moistened, over your eyes to help relax you before bed
Mundane Uses:
An astringent or strong tea of chamomile will whiten your skin
A Chamomile rinse will help blonde hair be more shiny
