Finally, a new episode is out! All about the letter G. I'm not sure, but I think this might be one of my favorites...at least as far as the various topics. Enjoy!

Episode 39 is finally out and it's all about the letter F!

Several episodes have come out since I last updated the site, but I'm finally getting around to updating the site! For those of you who only check this site for updated episodes, I'm SO sorry for the delay! Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with everything better in the coming months! There's so much going on! Check out paganpodkin.com for the latest on the Pagan Podkin Super Moot #2 happening in Salem in September!

Happy New Year! Time for more WitchesBrewHaHa!! After a mess of a fall, I'm back finally, although regular episodes will not start up again until February. Thank you all for your patience (I seem to be saying that a lot!), I promise we're getting there. There is a new episode out, number 29, in which I tell you all about the drama that was my autumn, tell you more than you probably ever wanted to know about Salem, and make an exciting announcement at the very end of the show! Enjoy and I'll be back with you all soon!
October 23, 2010
Episode 28 is finally out! Thank you for your patience with me recently!
I'm currently working on a Halloween Special, and it will be available for download for a limited time only! It will be released the evening of October 26 and will be available until the morning of November 1. It is really being designed as background for your Halloween activities, but will have a few spells, bits of magickal lore, lots of poems, and LOTS of music! There will be a special page on this site added on the 26th with a listing of everything in that special episode so if you want to refer back to anything, you'll have it at your fingertips! I hope you all enjoy it...I've been having a great time putting it together!

Hiya Brujas!
I wanted to take just a minute to make a little announcement. While the show is not, I repeat NOT, going away, it will be a little sporadic for the next couple of months. I am not only attending, but also organizing the Pagan Podkin Super Moot the weekend of the 1-3 of October (more about that below). Throughout the month of October, I will be doing a major amount of house cleaning and re-organizing, while planning my own Halloween-y stuff and the Halloween-y stuff for my coven. Throw in my birthday and Samhain itself...then a trip to Salem (YEAH!!!!!!!!) the first weekend of November, and I honestly don't know how many shows I'll be able to get out between now and mid-November. I WILL be doing a few shows, but please bear with me since I have no idea how many or exactly when. To be honest, I felt very guilty about not getting a show out every week, but then I realized that if the podcast becomes something something I feel guilty about, I shouldn't do it at all. So instead of not doing the show at all, I decided I'm just not going to feel guilty about it and do it when I can. I hope that's understandable!
Getting back to the Pagan Podkin Super Moot. I am thrilled to tell you that myself and several other Pagan Podcasters are getting together for a little mini-conference/vacation/tour of Chicago Witchy Shops from October 1-3. The reason I'm telling you this is not (just) to brag that I get to meet all these cool people, but to let you know that you could meet them too! We will be hanging out at Witchy Wearables in Midlothian, IL (just southwest of Chicago itself) on Saturday, October 2nd from 11a-1p. The "we" I'm referring is myself, Fire Lyte from Inciting a Riot, Gillian from Iron Powaqa, Cory from New World Witchery, Isaac and Jasmine from Pagan Hooligans, Scarlet from Lakefront Pagan Voice and Britney from Urban Green Witch. In case you're counting, that's 8 Pagan podcasters from 7 different podcasts! And you can meet them ALL!!!! I know I'm being a dork about it, but I've been jumping out of my skin with excitement about it for months now and now it's only a week away!!! I can not express my giddiness about this!! I would love to see anyone who can come to Witchy Wearables on Saturday, and if you're not in the area, keep your fingers crossed...this travelling circus might just come to a town near you in the future!!!
Here's the info for Witchy Wearables:
4459 147th St Ste D
Midlothian, IL 60445
708-389-1313
I'll try to get something put out over that weekend, but I make no promises. I'm planning to take my computer and mic with me, so anything is possible! I hope you all understand that my lack of shows has nothing to do with not wanting to continue podcasting, and has everything to do with having a million things going on! I went from sloth to one-armed paper-hanger in a matter of seconds!
Kisses!

I'm back from 'summer vacation' and not going anywhere anytime soon! This week's show talks about the passing of Isaac Bonewits and how we, as pagans, need to make sure we leave some information about what we want when we die. There's also a new swag contest for a WitchesBrewHaHa prize pack that runs through the end of September! Plus all the segments you've come to know and love! Due to a death in the family and continued ill-health and 'slothishness' on both of our parts, we're still waiting for the Stone Magick megasode, but it IS coming in the very near future. I hope you enjoy and thanks again for your patience and understanding with me throughout the summer months! Come on fall! I'm ready for you!

Hi everybody! I'm sorry the show has been so spotty and irregular. I promise I'm not going anywhere! I'm catching up on emails and (obviously) working on the website. I'm very excited about some of the upcoming topics I have for you and for the monthly show I'll be doing with Fire Lyte from Inciting A Riot! Plus, don't forget to let me know if you have any ideas for the swag contest. The best idea will not only be the contest that we do, but will also win a WitchesBrewHaHa Sharpie for winning the "swag contest" contest! There's a lot coming up very soon, so stick around!
June 10, 2010
Just a quick note to let you all know that I will be putting out a new episode (#20!) this weekend. I have had a great time during my vacation from the podcast, and I can't wait to tell you all about it! Also, thank you to everyone who has sent me email lately! I promise I'll get back to you as soon as I can unbury myself from my inbox!

This show is about pop culture deities and magick! Plus, Herbal Witchery, Hex Libris and Practical Magick......and...the very first WitchesBrewHaHa Swag Contest! It's your chance to win a WitchesBrewHaHa Sharpie and a coffee mug, mousepad or totebag! Listen fast though, the first email I get with the correct answer will win! Good Luck!
Here are the links to the news stories from the show, too:

I finally got the website updated! It's been giving me problems but I've finally got it figured out! Thanks to all of you who have emailed me with concern about the lack of updates...I assure you I'm fine...just trying to get my computer to cooperate with me!
April 18, 2010
This week's episode focuses on responsibility and accountability within the Pagan community. Plus, there's some listener feedback, Herbal Witchery with Ariel, Hex Libris, and, in Practical Magick, I share a spell from my own spellbook to help avoid problems with Mercury Retrograde! Enjoy!
April 11, 2010
This episode is RANDOM part 2. Some news, listener feedback, a couple of miscellaneous rants, Hex Libris and Practical Magick, as well as the premiers of Herbal Witchery with Ariel and Stone Magick with Terra! Hope you enjoy...I have to go do my taxes!
April 4, 2010
This episode is all about correspondences and how to 'tweak' spells! It's almost a Hex Libris Megasode because I have 8 book recommendations for you all about correspondences! Also, I'm super excited about next week, because we'll be starting 2, count 'em, 2 new segments! Enjoy!
March 28, 2010
It took a long time, but episode 12 is now done with the editing process and is available for all! It is a combo-cast with Fire Lyte from Inciting A Riot and it's all about curses...the good, the bad, and the ugly. Not only was FL a guest on WitchesBrewHaHa for the topic, but I also guest host episode 23 of his show, where we continue the discussion, and get more into the ethical ramifications of cursing. Check out Episode 12 here, then pop over to IaR and hear what else we have to say!
March 23, 2010
I finally have the site updated! The Hex Libris page has had a full face lift...check it out! Episode 11 is now available for download via the link on the right, or through iTunes.
As promised, here are the links to the two news stories I discussed in the episode:

New Jersey School Board will include Pagan Sabbats in 2010-2011 school calendar
Be sure to tune in next week for a really fun show about a very controversial topic!
March 7, 2010
I'm having such a good time doing this podcast, especially with the addition of a couple of new elements: News and Listener Feedback! In this episode, I listed what I think are the top 10 things that people just finding the Pagan paths need to know, and I think number one might surprise you. It seems so simple, but it's SO important! Plus, Hex Libris is a great starter book, and in Practical Magick I let you in on the coolest thing I have EVER seen in a ritual! Enjoy!
February 28, 2010
I'm totally dorking out about Episode 8! I've finally figured out how to add music to the podcast, so I've got some amazing intro music for the show, and for Hex Libris and Practical Magick! Plus, I tackled the topic of Pagans discriminating against each other for everything. This episode was great to do, and I would love to hear what you have to say about it. Email me via the link above, or leave a comment in the guestbook!
February 21, 2010
Episode 7 was so much fun! I talked about several topics that I wanted to do from the start, but none of them were really big enough to be their own show. I talk about the debate over the spelling of the word magick. Why the final "k"? I also talk about magickal names, making a plea to all pagans to think carefully when choosing one. I was planning to rant about the fact that Witches and Pagans magazine hasn't put out an issue in 6 months, but when I checked their myspace I saw that they had just finished it, and it shipped to stores on the 19th! Plus, I send out some podkin love to my favorite shows! And of course, I have a practical magick segment, and in Hex Libris, I highlight one of my favorite witchy fiction series! Enjoy!
February 14, 2010
Finally back in the land of the living! Episode 6 is out a week late after a family emergency last week kept me so distracted there was no way things would settle down enough for me to focus on the podcast. Things are much better now, so we're back on a weekly schedule. In Episode 6 I talk about 'magickal ethics'. Check it out via the link on the right!
February 3, 2010
I got the podcast out on Sunday, and now, three days later, I'm finally able to get the website updated! Life is crazy (but it's good)! Episode 5 is the Practical Magick Megasode, and I give you the lowdown on lots of non-witchy places where you can find all kinds of witchy stuff. I hope it gives you some new ideas about how to make your magick! If you've got other ideas about where to get great witchy stuff, check out the forum and let us know!
January 29, 2010
Somehow in the process of trying to upgrade my website, I managed to erase it! So I'm struggling to get it back the way it was, and get the upgrade done as well, which is why it looks a little different! I'm hoping to get the podcast out on time tomorrow, but I'm not sure how long I'll be messing with this! Bear with me!
January 23, 2010
Episode 4 is out on schedule. I talk a bit about written rituals and spontanious ones, and ponder the idea of holding papers with your words during rituals and spells. Is it a cop out not to memorize everything? Hex Libris is the Ultimate Book of Goddess Empowerment by Sophia, and in Practical Magick I talk about the magickal uses for Matryoshka dolls and nesting boxes! Plus, as a special bonus, my cat sets himself on fire! (He's fine, by the way, just slightly singed!)
January 16, 2010
Episode 3 is now available! This episode discusses the misnomer of calling it "self-initiation", the magickal use of Sharpies, and Hex Libris this week is The Book of Spells by Michael Johnstone. A link to Hex Libris can be found above, and if you have something to say about initiation or dedication, you can visit the forum via the link above and get involved in the conversation!
January 13, 2010
I'm now an official member of Facebook! My page will be mostly for redirecting to this site or my podbean website and networking, but at least I have this part of technology figured out! Search for witchesbrewhaha and you'll find me there!
January 9, 2010
Episode 2 is out! "Beads and Bunny Slippers" talks about coming out of the broom closet, magickal uses for pencils, and introduces the new Hex Libris segment that the link here is for! Thanks to all of you who have subscribed or listened so far, and welcome to the party!
